Terms of Service
Terms of Use for Beat Break Radio
By browsing Beat Break Radio — reading an article, following a link from a set breakdown, or checking a plugin write-up — you agree to the terms below. If any part of them does not sit right with you, the simplest remedy is to close the tab; nothing here obliges you to stay.
What This Site Is
Beat Break Radio is an informational directory and reference resource for producers, engineers, and radio-minded listeners. We publish commentary and short reviews on VST/AU plugins, free tools, DAW workflows, sample libraries, and sound design practice, along with notes on how material holds up across a long mix. Everything here is research and reading material. We are not a storefront, we do not sell licences, and we are not responsible for the download, installation, or configuration of any third-party software we discuss.
Intellectual Property
The writing, page structure, and original graphics on this site belong to its operators. Quoting a paragraph or two with clear attribution and a link back is fine and encouraged — that is how small sites get found. Republishing whole articles, mirroring the directory, or reselling our text as your own is not.
Using the Site Reasonably
- Do not use this site for anything unlawful, or to distribute material you have no right to share.
- Do not hammer the server with automated crawlers, bulk scrapers, or scripts that ignore rate limits and
robots.txtdirectives. - Do not attempt to disrupt availability, probe for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated disclosure, or impersonate the operators.
- Do not present our reviews as endorsements, sponsorships, or purchasing advice for any product.
No Warranty
Plugin behaviour depends on your DAW, your OS build, your interface, and your ears. Descriptions, level-matching suggestions, and workflow notes are offered as-is, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Version numbers move; a tool that shipped clean last spring may misbehave after an update. Verify anything load-bearing against the vendor’s own documentation before you commit a session to it.
Limits on Liability
This material is educational. Decisions you make with it — which compressor you put on a bus, how hot you push a limiter before a broadcast chain, what you install on a machine you depend on — are yours. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operators accept no liability for lost projects, damaged hearing, wasted studio hours, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or of software mentioned on it. Listen at sensible levels; use it at your own risk.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise this page as the site grows or as tools and standards shift. The current version always governs. Continuing to read after a revision takes effect counts as acceptance of it, so if the wording matters to you, check back occasionally.
Governing Law
These terms are intended to be read under the general laws applicable where the site’s operators are established. Should any clause be held unenforceable, the remaining clauses stay in force.
